if adopted, would deny co
operative associations that
sell milk at less than order
prices the privilege of com
puting and paying their mem
bers a “reblended” price based
on all sales of milk by the co
operative to different handlers,
both in and out of the mar
keting area.
In announcing the Oct. 4
hearing. C&MS officials said
testimony still pending from
an earlier hearing held Jan
18-19, will be considered in
conjunction with the new evi
dence to be received at the
Oct 4 hearing.
C&MS officials said that
other proposals to consoli
date the Delaware Valley
order with the Upper Chesa
peake Bay, or the New York-
New Jersey Federal order
will NOT be considered at
the Oct. 4 hearing, in order
not to burden the hearing
record with a detailed review
of the entire provisions of
three orders.

ings, ITSDA recommends
amending the order, farmers,
milk dealers, and others would,
then be given opportunity to
file exceptions, which would
be considered by USDA before
issuance of a final decision.

mitted to dairy farmers serv
ing the Delaware Valley mar
ket, for approval
