ferings. Live supplies were
adequate with sizes improved
and generally 'within desired
ranges.
Ready-to-cook demand rang
ed fair to good though lacked
aggressiveness. Prices con
tinued very competitive.
Estimated slaughter for
Fuday and Satuiday, 898,000
head, compared to 949,000
head last weekend.
In the 24 houis preceding
market close on Fuday,
broilers and fryeis live prices
ranged from 16 0-16 8 cents
per lb. on sales of 1,040,600
head.
