In other business discussed, Garland Gingrich of Penn Manor High School reported the Lancaster 'County Soil and Water Conservation District had purchased a set of 90 slides .for use by the Exten sion Service and themselves. These slides are also avail able to the vo-ag teachers as a teaching aid. He showed the group a sample of about 30 slides and illustrated their use. Gingrich, as secretary for the conservation district, re layed a request that the teachers donate the soil pro file they had constructed on June 17 to the conservation district so the latter could pass it on as an award at its annual banquet next March. The teachers voted unanim ously to do so.
