Weekly Broiler Report BROILER PLACEMENTS DOWN 14 PERCENT Placements of broiler diloks in the Commonwealth during the week ending May 15, to taled 783,000 according to the Pennsylvania Crop Reporting Service. The placements de clined 14 percent from the previous week and 9 percent from a year earlier. Settings for -broiler chicks totaling 1,- 535,000 increased 14 percent from the previous week and 25 percent from a year ago. The current 3-week total of eggs set increased 22 percent from a year earlier. Inship ments of broiler-ty(pe chicks during the past 10 weeks to taled 876,000 or 78 percent above the comparable period in 1964.
