heavy auction offerings de
spite widespread extension of
pickup dates.
Beady-'to-cook demand was
mostly fair with very few
plants operating Saturday.
New interest was non-aggres
sive and very competitive with
other production areas.
Delivered prices were most

Estimated slaughter for Fri

compared, with 725,000 last
weekend.
Prices paid and reported
purchases for the 24-hour
period ending 10:30 a.m. Fri
day: broilers and fryers. 15.1-

Thirty-nine % of broilers
sold for 15.5-15.9 cents per
pound.
The Delmarva broiler-feed
ratio for the week ending Feb.
5, 1965 was 3.2, down 1 point
from the preceding week.
Average mash price per ton
was $102.06 and broilers aver
aged 16.51 cents per pound.
