meeting of Society of ..Farm
Women No. 1 on Saturday af
ternoon at the home of Mis.
Paul Stark.
Mis Clayton Sangrey, the
piesident, was in charge of
the meeting and 30 membeis
and three guests attended. A
contribution was made to
Heart Haven and an appeal
was issued for waiti esses to
serve at the bazaar to be held
in Moose Hall, Lancaster, on
Apnl 27
Mrs Amos Shenk and Mis.
Abiam Bollinger gave repoits
on the State Convention held
at Hanisburg recently. The
group voted to support the
Farm and Home Foundation if
it is selected as a County
project.
The group will have a le
freshment stand at the Jurell
sale on March 17, and a rum
mage sale will be held on
April 23. Mrs. Willis Bucher
displayed the scrap book she
is making for the Society.
The next meeting will be
held at the Lititz Recreation
Centei on March 6 with Mis.
Fiankhn Weber, Mrs John
Newcomer and Mis John Eib
as hostesses The piogram will
feature Mrs Warren G.
Hoopes, Jr., and the Bell
Choir.
