Weekly Review
The Thursday sale at the
New Holland Sales Stables pro
gressed normally in spite of
the holiday. Receipts were
slightly below normal; these
included 635 cattle, 170 calves,
and 11 sheep. Price trends
were steady. This sale was not
covered’ in detail by Market
New Service because of the
Thanksgiving Day holiday.
At the Nov. 25 sale 179 cows,
13" bulls, and 9 heifers were
offered. Fresh Holsteins
brought 275-450; Guernseys,
150-235; other breeds, 150 300
Bulls brought 125-225, and
heifers, 53-250. The trend was
steady.
At the horse sale on Nov.
23, 306 head were received
Riding horses brought 85-240;
driving horses, 85-200; killers,

first three days this week.
