Plans were announced for
the State Convention to be held
at Harrisburg on January 11
and 12. The group baked cook
ies to be sent to the Ins Club
for the Child Development Cen-i
ter. The group also folded
Christmas seals at the Tuber
culosis Center, Lancaster, and
delivered material in the Eph
rata area for them They also
sewed at the Lancaster Gener
al Hospital.
The Rev. Julius Sathmary of
Bphrata was the guest speak
er. He is a native of Hungary
and told about living condi
tions of the people at the pre
sent tune under Communism.
The group decided to have a
display at the Christmas meet
ing of the County Extension
service to be held in Lancas
ter on Nov. 30. The next meet
ing will be a party at the
Moravian Home on December
5.
