Secretaiv of Agriculture Orville Freeman in Washington for first-hand discussion.

“HOW 4-H CONTRIBUTES TO
GOOD CITIZENSHIP”
by Linda Young
Have you ever asked your
self these questions'' What
kind of a citizerram I? How
can I become a better citizen’
First we must use what we
have. One way to discover our
abilities is through many ex
periences in 4-H By being a
member of any 4-H club, we

In order to have a better

Any officer who cannot attend
a meeting should show his
loyalty by contacting a leader
when he cannot be present.
Members are aware of the
officers who are not loyal to
their club. Even a game lead
er can prove how loyal he is
to the club by having games,
planned for each meeting.
Just this past month a few
first and second year girls
proved their loyalty by giving
an amount of $2O instead of
the regular $lO because they
