The 330 market hogs sold
$lOO higher at the June 15
auction. Retail hogs to local
butchers brought 18.50-19;
grades 1 to 3 went to the pack
ers at 17.75-18.35, and heavy
weight hogs brought 16.50-17.50.
Sows were 11 to 14. The 30
head of shoats brought 9.50-

the auction 50 per cent of the
sales were at 15.5 to 15 9.
The Delmarva broiler-feed
ratio for the week ending
June 12 was up one point from
last week at 3.0. Broilers dur
ing the week averaged 15 05
per pound and mash cost the
grower $100.20 per ton. For
the comparable week a year
ago, the ratio was 3 0 when
broilers averaged 14 99 and
mash sold for 99 63.

brought 30-34, good and low
