During the month ended May
15, the Index of Prices Receiv
ed by Fanners acioss the na
tion declined nearly 1 per cent
to 235 per cent of its 1910-14
average.
Contributing most to the de
cline were lower prices for
cattle, wholesale milk, and
eggs. Partially offsetting were
higher prices for potatoes, ap
ples, and hogs The Index was
2 per cent below May 1963
and the lowest for the month
since 1957.
The Index of Prices Paid by
Farmers, including Interest,
