New Holland Auction
The 88 dairy cows at the
May 27 auction sold very slow
but at nearly steady prices.
Five bulls and 23 heifers also
sold.
Fresh Holstein cows ranged
$250-565; Guernseys $l5O-225,
and other breeds $l5O-250.
Stock bulls were $l4O-170 and
stock heifers $65-175.
The 290 head at the May 25
horse sale sold slow and steady.
Riding horses were $125-275,
driving horses $125-300, and
killer horses 7-7 Vi cents a
pound Pony mares were $4O

Hogs gained 75 to 100 at
the May 25 auction as 325 mar
