Broiler Auction Closes
The final auction at «he
Lancaster Poultry Center saw
16 000 broilers In three lots
g oid at prices ranging from
15.3 to 15.5 for a sale average
0f’15.4.
At the January 30 auction
one lot of pullets including
250 head brought 23.1, while
a lot of 175 cockerels sold for
20 0. Six lots including 8,000
heavy fowl brought 17 25 to
19 while 375 males sold with
them at 8.3 to 8.8. A lot of
23.1 capons brought 23.1.
The complete sale offered
and sold 24,900 birds in 14
lots. Following is the com
