Pric es of 14 9 to 16.5 were report ed at farms for 1,058,900 head including 465,700 head sold at Thursday’s Eastern Shore,, Poul try Growers Exchange. Estimated slaughter for the week end was 869,000 head compared to the 898,000 head last week end. The Delmarva broiler-feed ratio for the week ending Aug ust 9 was 3.0 compared to the 2.9 for the previous week. Broilers averaged 15.11 per pound and mash cost the grow er $lO2 34 per ton.
