At the sale of the 107 head, auctioneer Henry Leid knocked the 215 pound grand champion down to Kunzler and Com pany, 'Lancaster, for 37 cents a pound Kunzler also bought the 235 pound reserve cham pion for a 25 25 a pound. Average weight of hogs in the sale was 199.2 with the heavyweights in greater de mand by the six buyers. The 21,305 pounds of pork re turned $4,217.65 to the future farmers for a sale average of 19 33. The show and sale was spon sored by the county PPA with the cooperation of the Lanc aster County Swine Producers Association.
