Last week's average was 16.22. A lot of 500 roasters sold for 26, while three lots of leghorn fowl containing 2,950 head brought 10.1 to 10.4. Three lots of 2,400 heavy fowl sold at 16.2 to 16 5 and a lot of 105 males brought 5.5 and 8.6. All birds on offer were sold, but one lot of 400 pullets was withdrawn prior to the sale. The June 13 auction offered and sold a total of 102,305 head in 26 lots. Estimated slaughter by east ern shore processors for the week end was 715,000 head conipaied to the 845,000 head last week end The Delmarva broiler-feed ratio for the week ending June 7 was down two points fiom the previous week at 3 2.
