10—Lancaster Saturday, May 25, 1963 Farm Women 18 Make Donation To FFA Boy A donation to a Future Farmer exchange student was made by Society of Farm Wom en 18 at a recent meeting in the home of Mrs. Ray Gamiber, Manheim. Mrs. Willis Esbenshade, vice president, presided in the ab sence of Mrs. Benjamin L. Greider, president. Devotions •were led by Mrs. Noah Getz. A “clothes -on - backward” contest was won by Mrs. Christ Greider, who had tbe most clothes on backward. The program included an auction of such items as plants, dfood, Farm Women 17 Aid Project Members of Farm Women Society 17, meeting recently in the home of Mrs. Ira Holz faauer, New Providence Hi, roted to aid the Child Develop ment Center as a county pro ject. Mrs. Richard Huber, Pequea, read several poems she had written on rural living. The scripture was read by the hos tess and roll call was answered by telling “Wfhat I did the morning before the meeting.” Co-hostesses were Mrs Ruth Kreider and Mrs. Maude Harn ish. The next meeting will be held Saturday, June 1, at the Bethesda Methodist Church. Members of Society 10, will be guests. Rroceeds will benefit the various pro jects of the group. Twenty-one members and a guest, Mrs. Grace Hahn, Man heim, attended.
