Stock hulls were $l6O-1851 and stock heifers brought $7O-140. At the May 6 auction of hor ses ponies and'mules, 301 head changed hands at about steady prices. Mules by the pair brought $275-520, while single mules sold for $l3O-225. ’Pony mares were $5O-115 and geldings were $4O-135. Riding horses brought $l2O-250 and driving horses were $l2O-250. Killer horses were 7% to S cents. The May 6 hog auction sold 384 head at prices 25 higher. Retail hogs to local butchers were 15 B's to 16.8 5. Grades 1 to 3 to the packer brought 15.- 35 to 15.85.
