per. Stir in cheese and pimi
ento. Combine egg, milk-onion
mixture and shortening or oil.
Add to dry ingredients, stirr
ing only until flour is moist
ened. Turn into well-greased
4y 2 x sy 2 inch loaf pan. Bake
in moderate oven (375) deg
rees 55 minutes, or until well
browned. (This bread is very
moist. It will test done at
about 40 minuites, but should
be baked the full time.) Cool
10 minutes before removing
from pan. Serve warm.
