MACHINERY REPAIR forms a large portion of
the shop work done by students of vocational agricul
ture at Pequea Valley High School. Elvin Hillard, son
of Mr. and Mrs- Ralph Hillard, Narvon R 2, overhauled
the motor on this corn picker and will repair the ma
chine before school closes. The equipment will be
ready to roll next fall when corn picking time comes
around. Henry Givler gives him some fine points on
setting the timing omthe motor. L. F. Photo.
TEACHERS OF VOCATIONAL AGRICULTURE
get close to their work sometimes. Lewis Hershey, son
of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Hershey, Gordonville Rl,
wanted to check the growth rate of his first project
heifer, and Henry Givler, his teacher of vocational
agriculture helped with the “taping” during this farm
visit after school hours. Lewis is in ninth grade at
Pequea Valley High School. L. F. Photo
