6—Lancaster Farming, Saturday; March 23, 1963 THE DOCTOR AND THE FARMER roll a cow on her back and massage her abdomen to try to get the fourth stomach to go back in place. With a rope around the cow-s neck, back between her fore legs, crossed over her back and drawn back between her hind legs, the -cow can be thrown easily and without fuss. A simple massage of her abdomen will usually return the fourth stomach (the abomasum) to its proper place. . L. F.
