Broiler volume continued
low but prices dropped about
a quarter cent a pound this
week at the Lancaster Poultry-
Center. A total of 41,400 head
in nine lots ranged from 16 7
to 17 1 for a sale average of
16.97.
Pullet prices moved up as
8,800 head in three lots rang
ed from 27 9 to 28.
One lot ot heavy fowl
brought 23 cents a pound tor
the 490 head, and two lots ot
leg Horn fowl including 1,215
head brought 9 5-9 9
The complete Maich 21 auc
tion otteied 62,932 head in
20 lots and sold 51,9 57 birds
in 15 lots
