WINNING TRIO IN THE MARKET SWINE show held this week by the
Lancaster County Swine Producers Association were these Yorkshires shown by
Parke Thomas, Beavertown, Snyder County. The grand champion of the show
was from this trio. Owner of the hogs was Reno Thomas, well known breeder of
Yorkshires.

shire breeder.
A 200 pound barrow exhibit
ed by Reno Thomas, Beaver
town, took the grand champ
ionship and teamed up with
two litter mates to carry off the
rosette in the .trio class.
The champion, shown hy
Parke Thomas and Ronald Har
sison, was bid in by Kunzler
and Co., Inc., Lancaster, at SO
cents a pound, and the two oth
er hogs m the trio were bought
by Medford Packing, Co of Ch
ester for 24 cents a pound.
