MY FIRST BIG THRILL IN 4-H is the way Mary
Jane Herr describes the emotion she felt on winning
reserve championship of the district show and the
showmanship trophy in her second year of 4-H club
work. Since this picture was taken in 1955 she has
won four showmanship trophies and three fitting
trophies plus many ribbons and cups for placing her
steers at the top of the classes. L. F. Photo.
