Frey says It took some per
suading and a little training
before all the cows weie push

to pump cool, fresh water into
the bowl, but within a week,
milk production was back up
to normal, and the cows have
been using the pump ever
since, Frey reports.

ports he has carried water to
his pigs on pasture for years.
