State Gamelands To Be Opened For Inspection Lancaster Area hunters and sportsman will have another opportunity this year to tour the Goldmine game preserve. District Game Protector, John Eicholtz said this week. Eicholtz said many of the hunters from this county go to the Goldmine area in North ern Lebanon County during hunting season and will wel come this chance to tour the gamelands and inspect th« work of the state game com mission. The automobile tour of about 25 miles through Le banon and Dauphin counties will be held on October 7, Bicholtz said The tour is scheduled to be gin at 1 p m at the state gamelands gate on gamelands road 211, and is expected to take approximately four hours Stops will be made so that visitors can inspect game food plots turkey feeders, and im provement of natural feed and cover.
