supply. Recent rains and cool
nights have brightened pro
spects for a good crop of
broccoli and cauliflower, the
harvesting of which is already
in progress. Home giown vege
tables are at their peak of
supply but can be expected to
decline lapidly after the mid
dle of September.
Our Pennsylvania peach har
vest is rapidly approaching
the end; supplies liom stoiage
will keep maikets active for
the next few weeks. Baitlett

Recent lams should help
sizing of the local apple ciop;
cool nights have been excellent
for putting color on the timt.
