Three groups of hogs were fed rations carrying
identical ingredient tags at the Purina Research
Farm. One was a Purina ration . . . the other two
Were called X and Y. The three groups of hogs
Were fed to 165 days.
The Purina ration made a net profit of $12.71
per hog more than Ration Y and $6.46 more than
Ration X. Though ingredient tags are important,
