Broilers Continue Steady
Broiler prices, were only
fractionally lower at the Lan
caster Poultry Center A to
tal of 101,100 head of broileis
in 20 lots weie oflered and

17 to 18 for a sale aveiase

week’s sale was 17 18.
Over half the broilers at the
July 2G auction sold at 17
cents with only three per cent
of the sales going over 17 5.
Two lots of White Vantress
broilers shared top price of IS
cents One lot of 1,000 head at
9 weeks and two days was
consigned by Miller and Bush
ong (grown by Donald Prank)
and bid in by Mai tin Brendle.
The 2,20,0 head consigned by
Kenneth Noll at nine weeks
was purchased by Carl B. Kis
ser,
