Broileis aveiaged about the same as last week as 80,400 head in 17 lots changed hands at 17 to IS 5 lor a sale aver age of 17 18. Almost halt the sales were at 17 while only four per cent brought more than 18. The average at last year’s corresponding sale was 12.62. The high lot was 3,000 White Vantress at nine weeks of age consigned by William K. Burkholder and bought by Garl B. Kisser. Vwo lots containing 1,400 heavy fowl brought 16.7; two lots of roasters brought 23 and 33-.1 for the 1.600 head. Prices on reported purchas es ranged from 1G.2 to 17.6 on 867,600 head at farms dur ing the period. These figures include 561,100 head sold at the Eastern Shore Poultry Ex change on Thursday. The Delmarva broiler-feed ratio for the week ending July 13 was up two points to 3.5. Broilers averaged 16 50 per pound and mash cost the grow er $95.51 per ton.
