FOUR BROWN SWISS CALVES slated for competition against each other
in the dairy shows this summer are pict ired with Mrs Amos Hoover, left and
her daughter Phyllis Phyllis, 10, almost 11, will be one of the seven original
members in Lancaster County’s first Bro vn Swiss 4-H club She is a sth grade
student at Gap Elementary School A sister, Virginia Lee, who will own one
of the calves, was on a trip with her class from Pequea Valley High School. Jean,
and Joyce Kreider of Quarryville Rl, have purchased the other two calves above.
The four calves were bom from December 2 to January 24. The Hoover farm at
