Prices received for all crops as a group averaged slightly above a month ear lier but a full seve.i per cent below a year ago. Pric es on grain and hay were higher but vegetable prices were lower. During the month ended November 15, the index of rnces received by farmers throughout the United Stat es was down nearly one per cent, or about two points, to 238 per cent of its 1910- ‘l4 average. Lower prices on meat animals, citrus fr uit, corn, cotton and eggs were responsible for most of the decline. The index of prices paid by farmers, including inter est, taxes and farm wage rates remained at 301 per cent - the same as the pre ceding three months. It was the highest November index of record.
