Sugar
Cream shortening well.
Add 1% cups sugar gradual
ly with salt and vanilla. Con
tinue creaming. Add eggs,
one at a time, beating well
after each addition. Sift flour
with soda and baking powder
and stir into shortening mix
ture. Add sour cream. Mix
well. Chi’l. Roll out on a
lightly flouted board or pas
try cloth. Cut with a bell
shaped cutter
Place half of the bells on
cookie sheet. Put 1 teaspoon
raisin filling in center of
each bell on cookie sheet.
Cover with remaining bel’s
and press edges together
Sprinkle with Bake in
moderate oven (375 degrees)
about 10 minutes To prepare
