Processors indicated that weights were running much heavier than desired. Esti mated slaughter for the week end was 851,000 head com pared with 773,000 head last week end. Prices of 13 50 to 14.60 on 822,400 head at farms were reported during the period. The Delmarva broiler-feed ratio for the week ending on November 24 was up two points from the previous week at 2 9. Broilers averag ed 13.33 per pound and mash cost the grower $92 38 per ton The two points gain in the ratio was a reflection of the gain in broiler prices from the 12.22 of the pre vious week, but mash also rose from the $9O 12 per ton of the previous week.
