16—Lancaster Farming, Saturday, September 30. 1961 Houser Shows 2 Champs In Lampeter Swine Show James Houser, Lampeter, carried home two grand champion rosettes and one reserve champion ribbon from the swine show at the Lampeter Fair, Wednesday. Houser showed his Chester white sow to the Grand championship spot in the breeding hog show and went on to exhibit lus medium weight pen of four Chester White market hogs to the top spot in that division. The hogs averaged 200 lbs. In the Pen of two market hogs, Glenn Book of Lancas ter R 7 took the top placing with two 225 pound York shires. Houser had the re serve pen of two Chester White heavyweights Houser is a 15 year _ old junior in vocational agricul ture at Lampeter Strasburg High School Champion boar of the show was exhibited by W. F. Ruoss, Ephrata with a young Duroc.
