2 cups (1 pound can) sal
mon, drained and boned
% cup crumbled Blue

6 tablespoons Parmesan
cheese
Paprika
Top toast with flaked sal
mon, then Blue cheese.
Spoon soup, directly from
can, over sandwiches. Sprin
kle 1 tablespoon Parmesan
cheese and a dash of paprika
over each. Place under bro 1-
er until soup is bubbly and
cheese is lightly browned
Total time; 7 minutes.
Variation; Substitute six
hard cooked eggs, sliced, for
the salmon and one can con
densed cream of celery soup
for the mushroom soup. Pre
pare the same way.

Lettuce
A thin slices baked ham
4 slices Swiss cheese
2 tomatoes, sliced
Thousand Island Dressing
Slice eggs. Spread b-ead
with Eo'tened butter. Cut
bread m half diagonal'y.
Place two pieces of bread on
opposite sides of each serv
ing plate. BuildLthe salad on
the lettuce lined center by
alternating slices of ham,
cheese, eggs, and tomatoes.
Serve this sandwich open
faced, with Thousand Island

bine two hard-cooked eggs
chopped fine with one cup of
mayonnaise, Vs cup chili
sauce, Vfc cup finely chopped
celery, and Vt cup c v ipped
sweet pickle.
HAM AND EGG SALAD
FILLING
2 hard-cooked eggs, shelled
2 cups ground cooked ham
1 cup diced celery
Vz cup mayonnaise
2 tablespoons sweet pickle
relish
3 tablespoons chili sauce
1 tablespoon vinegar (may
substitute 1 or 2 table-
spoons mustard here)
Chop eggs combine eggs,
ham and celery .Add mayon
naise, re’ish, chili sauce, and
vinegar. Mix well.
QUICKIE SANDWICH
Combine one table~poon of
soft butter or margarine and
14 teaspoon celery seed
Spread the cut surfaces of
two halves of a toasted Eng
lish muffin with the mixture
Arrange slices of hard-cook
ed egg on muffin. Squeeze
sharp cheese from a tube ov
er the top of the eggs. Put
about Vi teaspoonful of pick-

group last Saturday in the
home of Mrs. Mark Geyer,
announcement was made of
Farm Women’s camp at
Camp Swatara, August 27 to
29.
Hostesses at the meeting
were Mrs Mark Geyer, Mrs.
Elmer Brill, who had charge
of the devotional period, and
Mrs C R Frey.
