EX 7-3539 Farm Women 6 Hear Report On Foster Homes Mrs. Tigner, Foster Homes case worker, told members of the Society of Farm Women number six at their recent meeting, Lancaster County has 125 foster homes caring for 195 children Speaking at the meeting in the home of Mrs. Daniel Esh leman, Elizabethtown, Mrs. Tigner presented a very in teresting program. Hostesses for the meeting were Mrs. Eshleman, Mrs. Irvin Holsberg, and Mrs. Laura Snyder who also had charge of the devotional per od. ' The group voted to donate $3 00 to the Tuberculosis So ciety and $lO to the Muscul ar Distrophy Foundation. Mrs. Mark Geyer, Mrs. El mer Brill and Mrs C. R. Frey were elected to repre sent the club at the state convention in Harrisburg during Farm Show week. Members of the club de cided to meet at the home of Mrs. Daniel Eshleman on January 16 to prepare can cer dressings. Items that will tend to keep costs higher will be interest rates, taxes, wage rates and new machin ery. Food costs have risen less since 1947-49 than most oth er consumer items.
