roads were very hazardous

percent stockers and feeders.

Cattle recipts included 33
per cent cows m the run of
1020 head at the December
15 auction at New Holland.
Compared with last week’s
market, slaughter steers gra
ding high choice and prime
were steady. All other-grades
were 50 lower. Cows and
bulls were 50 higher.
A few lots of mixed
choice and prime 1,000 to 1,-
200 pound slaughter steers
made 27 85 to 28 75, with
odd head prune going to 28.-
85 and 29. The bulk of the
choice steers were 26 to 27.-
