Delmarva reported prices
for 472,100 head gained from
15 42 on Monday to 15.61 on
Tuesday.
The Delmarva broiler-feed
ratio for the week ending on
Nov. 25 dropped two points
from the week.
Broilers averaged 15.51 cents,
per pound and "mash cost
$86.37 per ton to make the
ration 3.6. Six months ago
the ratio was 4 0 but for the
same week a year ago the
ratio was 3.3.
Fluid Milk
Supplies Are
Well Maintained
Produdtion of fluid milk
fluctuated in most all a eas
but overall was generally
well maintained to steady.
Bottling demand was also
generally good authough sup

offered. Excess offerings mo

improved interest was noted
in the demand for cottage
cheese manufacturing, as
well as hard cheese and soft

The Egg Quotatim table in
Lancaster Farming wiLl fol
ow a new format beginning
with this issue.
No differentiation will be
made between Nearby and
Midwestern eggs in the new
style format.
The new style, however,
reflects no changes in exist
ing grade terminology. All
grades listed previously will
continue to be quoted.
The Urner-Barry Company
stated in its trade paper this
week. “ ... no changes in
existing New York Mercan
tile Exchange trading speci
fications wil be made until
further notice.”
The revised Egg Quotation
table will be found in the
usual spot on page three.
