Hunting To Be
On Most State

conflict with other park uses
or will interfere with con
struction work.
Chief exception to the op
en hunting rule is Gifford
Pinehot State Park between
-Harrisburg and York, where
heavy construction Will con
tinue through the Fall and
Winter.
Another large park under
construction, Prince Gallitzin.
State Park in northern Cam
bria County, will be opened
to hunting, however.
Goddard explained that
hunting has generally been
permitted in order to keep
park wildlife populations in
balance He added, however,
that hunting is not one of
