The Delmarva broiler-feed ratio for the week ending July 22 was off two points from the previous week at 4.0. Broilers averaged 18.26 and mash cost $91.93 per ton. The ratio for the same week last year was 3.7 when broilers made 18.02 and mash was costing $98.54. Georgia reported prices of 16.9 to 17.5 on 989,000 head at farms during the 24 hour period ending 10:30 Friday morning. Estimated slaught er in Georgia for the week end is 2,113,000 head com pared to the 1,806,000 head last weekend.
