The ground was again too wet for cultivation or sup port of heavy farm equip ment early in the week, the State Agriculture agency said. However, .harvest of sweet cherries started in the Blue Mountain area and picking is expected to start in Erie County next week. Sour cherry picking is expected to start next week in southern counties. Strawberry harvest has passed its peak locally and volume is now declining. Some early cabbage and snap beans are being harves ted in Lancaster and neigh boring counties and harvest of Alaska variety of green peas was finished by the end of last week.
