Oakes, PP&L board chairman and chief executive officer. A senior at Hempfield high school, Harry is a member of the school band and orchest ra, the basketball team and the Hempfield Key Club. In addition, he has served as vice president of the Student Council, vice president of the junior class and presi dent of the local 4-H Dairy Club. The scholarship winners were selected by the Com mittee on Academic Stand ards of Penn State’s College of Agriculture The awards were based on scholarship, character and promise of usefulness in one of the var ied fields of agncultuie.
