385,500 head during the 24-
hour period ending 10.30 on
Fuday morning.
The bulk of the sales were
between 17.5 and 17.9.
Estimated slaughter by
Eastern Shore processors for
the week end was 534 000
compared with 650,000 last
week end.
Georgia reported prices of
16 5 to 17 75 on 1,330,000
head with most of the sales
at 17.

Reports indicate that fluid
milk production continued to
increase at all points though
the rate of increase was ir
regular. Surplus in excess of
needs as Boston reported a
good demand with a lighter
buying interest noted at New
York and Philadelphia.
