Retiring president, Ken neth Young, Mount Joy Rl, was elected junior leader and representative to the co unty 4-H council. Other officers elected we re vice president, Mary El len Mumma, Manheim Rl; secretary, Elaine Stoltzfus, Honks Rl; treasurer, Doro thy Garber, Willow Street R 2, song leader, Terry Ben- Poorbaugh, York R 3, secre tary - treasurer. Harold Bollinger, Sheridan Lebanon County was nam ed to his first term on the executive committee. Re-el ected to the committee was Levis W. Phipps, Wilming ton. Del. Witmer, elected -unanim ously in the absence of any other nominees for the post has served on the board of directors of the cooperative since 1953. Risser and Poor baugh were also unapposed. Witmer brings to the office his experience as president of the Eastern States Farm er’s Exchange, Springfield, Mass, during the years 1957 and 1958. He has served on the board of directors of that organization for 28 years. The owner of a 400 acre farm at Dalmatia Rl, Wit mer lias a string of 100 reg istered Guernseys, operates a hatchery with- a half mil lion bird capacity per year, and manages his own fruit farm.
