Saturday, March 5, 1960 Insecticide In Fertilizer Is Problem Timing the application is the big problem in using in secticides in fertilizer, accor ding to Lloyd E. Adams, Ex tension Entomologist at the Pennsylvania State Universi ty. Adams spoke during the annual Lime and Fertilizer Conference recently at Penn State. Insecticide timing must coincide with fertilizer appli cation where the two are combined, Adams said. The conference took place as thousands of farmers in the State made annual plans for fertilizer use this spring and summer.
