Oelmarva - Georgia Higher Prices Noted Here Delmarva reported sales of 779,500 head at farm pri ces of 18 20 - 20.60 for the 24 hour period ending 10:30 Friday 'morning. Estimated slaughter in Delmarva for the week end is 610,000 head compared to 509.000 head last week end. The Delmarva broiler fe ed ratio for the week ending February 19 was up one po int from the previous week at 4.0. Broilers averaged 18.18 cents per pound and mash cost $92 00 per ton. Georgia reported sales of 1.346.000 head at prices ran gmg from 18 to 19. Fluid Milk Surplus Still Building Up Production of fluid milk was reported sharply higher than for the same period of last year at all points except Atlanta.
