If litter is used for more than one brood of chicks, litter immediately un der the brooder area should be entirely replaced for each brood. Remove all caked and damp material, resurface with Vz to 1 inch of fresh litter. Stir and add fresh litter as needed. Use all night lights equivalent to 15 watts per 200 sq. ft. of floor -space.
