N. CLYDE FORNEY
Clyde is the 16 year old
son of Mr and Mrs Norman
G Forney, Litxtz R 4.
Although Clyde is only a
junior in high school, he
has made an impressive
record His project program
to the present time has_ in
cluded 65 fattening hogs,
five gilts and one sow, 18
acres of corn and one and
one-half acres of tobacco
His plans for the present
year include fom sows and
six gilts, 75 fattening hogs,
20 acres of corn, two acres
of tobacco and four acres of
alfalfa

chapter swine ring in 1958
and managed that project to
the $50.00 county prize the
following year. He had the
second highest corn yield in
the chapter last year, was
high livestock judge at the
Lampeter Fair in both 1958
and ’59 and was third in
county judging at the same
fair in 1959. His judging
won for him a trip to the
state FFA judging contests
at PSU in June.
KENNETH BINKLEY
Kenneth, the 16 year old
son of Mr. and Mrs. David
Binkley, Lititz R 4, is a jun
ior at Warwick High School.
Project programs have in
cluded 2400 broilers, 19 fat
tening hogs, five gilts and
one sow, 27 acres of corn,
one and one half acres of to
bacco, and 800 pullets in
partnership. Plans this year
call for continuing the part
nership project with the lay
ing hens and conduct anoth
er 800 pullet enterprise, two
acres of Tobacco, eight acres
of alfalfa ,25 acres of corn,
and three sows and 10 gilts
Kenneth is active in the
membership of the Hess
Mennonite church, has chair
ed the committee to set up
tent and facilities for the
Beef show at the Lititz Com
munity Fair, and was local
FFA secretary in 1958

Donald, a senior at Done
gal High School, is the 17
