Make it this way: HAM WITH SWEET POTATOES 1-pound slice of ham 2 medium sweet potatoes, pared 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 cup hot water Cut ham in serving pieces and brown lightly in a fry pan. Place the ham in a baking dish. Slice the sweet potatoes over it, and sprinkle with brown sugar. Add water to drippings. Pour over sweet potatoes. Cover. Bake at 350 degrees about 45 minutes, basting occasionally with the 1 quid. Remove cover to brown the last 15 minutes. Makes four servings.
